BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Project is located in the departments of Amazonas and Cajamarca. It included a regulation rock-fill dam, penstock, powerhouse, dump, design flow of the power plant 502 m³/s, valve yard, and Transmission Line of 500 kV delivered in the future La Niña Substation in Piura.
Feasibility study performed during years 2010-2011 included the following services: Evaluation and Compilation of existing information, Fact-findings visits, Studies of Electrical Market, Hydrological and Geological Studies of the closure and vase sections, Seismic Risk and Alternatives Studies. Execution and Elaboration of fieldworks Program: Topographical surveys. Aerophotogrametric restitution. Geological and Geotechnical Studies. Geognostic Researches, Definition of the Dam type. Project Engineering: Development of the Study including the Transmission System in 500 kV and Reservoirs operation, Costs, Economical and Financial evaluation. Study submitted to the General Department of Electricity (hereinafter DGE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mines. Pre-operability Study.
